Dry eye

Coeliac disease but initially diagnosed with lupus. Lupus much more controlled now with diet.

Many problem dry eye- initially cured with omega 3 supplements but not working for 2 years now. Drops ineffective.

Also have dry skin, previous infertility and miscarriages. Could it be vitamin a deficiency? Anyone tried vitamin a for this?

I have had one very dry eye for several years way before I had my CD diagnosis. My GP prescribes Hylo Forte drops and these do relieve it. I also had Viscose Tears but they made my eyes blurry for too long where as Hylo Forte is much easier and quicker for relief

I was using an eye wash and eye drops and my GP told me that I was exacerbating it as my eye weren't producing enough tears...
