Sorry another random question
Hi all. Sorry I keep asking random questions....has anyone ever experience a severe dry mouth when taking medications? My mums mouth only now again drys and shrivels up so much it’s quite strange to witness. She takes water and then it’s fine again. She’s sipping water all day long. I contacted her GP

Does anyone else have swollen eyelids in the morning?
Hello lovely forum members, I have Hashimotos & (mild) TED. My eye dryness, grittiness & pain seem to have subsided (thankfully) but I’m waking up again with very swollen upper eyelids. I think I’ve read someone refer to them as ‘marshmallow eyes’- the swelling does look like a marshmallow! My recent

Breathing and "funny feeling"
I have permanent AF and moderate HF with crt-p implanted. I take Bisoprolol, Digoxin, Rivaroxaban, Furosemide, Spironolactone, Candesartan. I tend to struggle to breath on exertion a lot of the time and sometimes when I am out of breath I have a funny sensation a bit like a hot flush going through

Cause and effect
Five times in the past five years I have had a horrible experience, the first of which led to my eventual diagnosis of AF, then HF and eventually DCM. I’m on the top dose of Entresto, 12.5 mg bisoprolol plus digoxin, atorvastatin, Apixaban, and furosemide. Two weeks ago I flew to Edinburgh for a Burns

another ablation
I went down with AF three years ago but due to a clot in my heart I could not get any treatment until 2019 when it had dissolved. I went with a pace and ablate on the advise of my EP but still suffered from breathlessness on exertion. I next had a PVI to try and alter this. Although my rate is perfect

Another drug?! What does this one do then?
I’ve a letter which was delivered yesterday about my fluid retention due to my heart & kidney problems. It’s evidenced by a slight oedema in my lower right leg. I’ve researched water tablets & challenged my heart failure nurse but they’ve now written to my GP about Frusemide. I checked with credible

Starting on Leflunomide and not feeling good.
I started taking Leflunomide at 10mg per day last Friday and don't know if the way I have been feeling is due to side effects from them or not. I am recovering from a major operation which I had in mid-November and had to come off Mtx for that, but I have now been back on it for four weeks. I am very

Confused?
Hi I am positive for anticardiolipin antibodies. Been on aspirin therapy. Never had a clot that I know of. Was in a car accident in May 2017. Air bag hit my left ear and lost some hearing in that ear. Went to an ENT specialist and he ordered an MRI on my brain to see if any physical damage to me ear.

Suggestions for reducing spironolactone and furosemide without having a rebound
Anyone with experience or tips for reducing and coming off of diuretics. I have read about and experienced a rebound effect of putting on water weight quickly. My labs are great and my liver seems fine after 7 months of no alcohol, healthy living and some herbs my doctor approved I could take. I

Incessant Coughing while waiting for AVR
My husband (64) had AF and has now been told his aortic valve needs replacing. He is waiting for the operation. My question concerns any solution for the coughing that is wearing him out, due to fluid caused by his heart problem. He takes 1 Furosemide but was fainting on 2 so it had to be reduced to
