A bit disheartened and confused
A little over 2 years ago at age 36 I experienced the first of what I came to find out was an Afib episode (of course, not until after being told I was just having panic attacks by some very unhelpful ER personnel). This was about a week after a doctor had prescribed me rizatriptan for headaches (

First Capsule Endoscopy
I got there at 6:30am, swallowed the pillcam at 8:10am with 0.6g simethicone, was fitted with patches, records for 8 hours so it will end around 3:30-4pm. I have a paper to note “eating, drinking, and unusual sensations.” I am feeling a lot of pain in general, so, I am a bit nervous for what qualifies

Does Buscopan ease gurgling/growling guts?
I tried Buscopan a few years back. I only used it the once as my fingertips went numb and it put me off. However, it did seem to settle my tummy within 15 mins or so. I am having such a gurgling and growling digestive system and nothing like low fodmap, peppermint or simethicone seem to ease it. I thought

Has anyone tried Mebeverine or Alverine Citrate?
Although I have had IBS for over 20+ years the last 4/5 years have been virtually non-stop. Two years ago I had lots of tests including a gastroscope with biopsies, a colonoscopy, ultra sound scans and a ct scan. Nothing was found. But still the symptoms persist. I have tried so much over the years and

Trapped wind & bloating
I’m struggling with afternoon & evening trapped wind & bloating , just looking into what’s best to take ? I don’t like Buscopan as it can cause constipation & I’m IBS-C , has anyone tried activated charcoal or Rennie Deflatine or simethicone? Any help would be really appreciated, Thanks 😊

Simeticone and Hypothyroidism
Has anyone here tried Simeticone to help with their hypothyroid symptoms? I'm considering a trial to see if it will improve my symptoms, especially brain fog, and I would like to know how other people found it. Also, if you have tried this which brand did you use? https://ibshypo.com/index.php/polydimethylsiloxane

IBS-D help
I have just had blood tests and stool tests to have a check up and came back normal which has stopped me worrying. I suffer from IBS-D and have Alverine and loperamide from the doctor. Does anyone have any other good remedies to try and help? I know probiotics don’t work for everyone but just wondering

How to end a flare up?
Hello everyone. I'm not sure if I have IBS, it hasn't been a confirmed diagnosis. Mainly because it was quite bad at one point. Back in 2019 it started with sudden diarrhea which increasingly got worse and became an on and off thing, cramping, spasms, constantly feeling like somethings being twisted

Changing medication?
Hi! Over the years I've been on a variety of antispasmodic medications - alverine citrate, some others I can't remember (!) and now I'm on mebeverine. When I switched onto mebeverine, my GP at the time said that it's helpful to switch every now and again because your body gets used to the medication

Broccoli Sprouts--loaded with sulforophane--a must for your dietary attack on PCa..
Many of us seek methods to attack our PCa and hold it in check and reduce our PSA's and I endorse to you....the lowly broccoli sprout. Filled with sulforophane, the broccoli sprout helps in the fight against PCa. Sulforophane is the key ingredient in Broccomax but to get it in a stronger dose, one should

Simethicone
Hi just wanted to say that after a return of AF following a good year on Nebivolol I decided that my initial suspicion that this is related to stomach gas needed a closer look again. I hadn’t slept for weeks with irregular beats burping chest pressure and the banging in my ears. Yesterday I bought some
