Hi I am on Alverine it is good for when you have pains in you bowles I take it after I have passed a motion or when I feel I am bloated it does help as it is an antispasmodic how this helped.
My GP prescribed this several months ago. Unfortunately it disagreed with me and I stopped after just one day. I looked up reviews on Alverine though and my experience seems unusual. I just went back to Buscopan instead.
Hey I have been taking Alverine for about 8 months now, my dose at the moment is 2 twice a day, I can up them to 3 times a day, if necessary. My doctor has told me I can take Buscopan on top of this if the pain is particularly bad. Most of the time Alverine is sufficient in helping with bloating and reducing the pain associated with this. I have previous tried other things, I think what works for one person might not work for someone else, you just need to keep trying & stick with what helps you. Also swear by my hot water bottle, good luck to you, hope this helps!
i used to take spasmonal but I found it didn't help with stomach pain so doctor switched to colofac, which helps.
