I have been recently diagnosed with PCOS and I had to keep asking for someone to dig further into my health I finally had a doctor to listen. Hello, I was diagnosed with PMR in August 2018, started on 15 mg pred, which worked like a dream. Been tapering ever since but have found it very difficult from 10 mg downwards. Good evening all, I’m a true newby! After 18 months of back and to, to the GP with shoulder pain, worsening depression and feeling lethargic I was made to feel that it was all in my head. I started to get a terrible headache and went for a private eye test. The optician was amazing and wrote a letter

Good Places to get Metformin without a Prescription
What are some good safe non-US pharmacies at which to get Metformin without having to argue whether or not you are using it for diabetes or not?

FDA investigating Metformin for Carcinogens
The investigation by the FDA of Metformin (probably the most investigated drug of all time given its long history for use with Type 2 diabetes) for the carcinogen NMDA is of some concern given the plethora of generic manufacturers of this drug, especially from India and China. NDMA or NMN is usually

Can low dose NDT cause high cortisol? Insomnia?
First time taking low dose NDT and I preciously had a “somewhat high” 22 a.m. cortisol reading (I have adrenal PCOS with the Hashi’s). I’m 2.5 weeks into treatment and I’m having even worse problems falling asleep! Last 3 nights I’ve been waking up between 4-5 a.m. Exhausted, moody and sick. Could it

My Uro and my general doctors refused to prescribe metformin for me since I am not a diabetic. I was thinking of trying it as a last resort to see if it can stable the psa progression. Has anyone faced the same situation or know how and where I can get a prescription to try it for 3 months. Thank you

When - and how to stop losing weight?
I'm thinking that I am pretty much near the end of my weight loss journey. Back in March I was diagnosed with high blood sugar - just into the diabetes range at 7%, and I weighed 17 stone 9 pounds. My doctor said he could put me on Metformin, or I could try and reverse it with diet and exercise. I
