Period where are you this month

Been on metformin Sr for 6 month every month but December I have not had a period but getting the signs of it happening... not pregnant as test and bloods say big fat no is there anything I can do or eat to be gained it on apart from the sex word as husband works nights

Unfortuantely metformin is not prescribed for inducing periods, it's prescribed for regulating insulin. Some peopel find they lose weight on it and as a result this can prompt their body to start ovulating/having periods again.

It's worth reading the International Guidelines for PCOS, especially chapter 4 around the use and effectiveness of things like the pill and metformin, and chapter 5 which relates to fertility specifically but may have something that ould help.

But with metoformin losing weight getting my periods back does it mean I ovulate does it

Unfortunately not, it doesn’t guarantee it. Also OPKs aren’t always accurate either as we tend to have elevated levels of the hormone that they measure anyway.
