Successful follow up to previous post regarding bending the truth to obtain correct prescription level
Dear all, I wanted to let you know about my recent success in case it can help anyone facing the difficulties I faced. So, I've no Thyroid, was gradually lowered to 75 (from 150 - was 86kgs) and then put down to 50mcg Levo, where I became seriously ill. Drs used TSH testing only and put my illness

TSH creeping up !
I am on 125mg Levo, but on my last test showed 2.5 TSH ! Should I be worried ? GP also informed me my cholesterol was high. Serum cholesterol level 5.6 mmol/L Serum HDL cholesterol level 1.0 mmol/L Serum cholesterol/HDL ratio 5.6 [0.0 - 5.0]; Outside reference range Serum non high density lipoprotein

Here are my blood test results as promised…..
I’d be really grateful if you could take a look at my test results below and let me know what you think please. Since having the left side of my thyroid removed in February 23 because of a suspiciously large nodule, my blood tests had showed lower than optimum levels and so I was started on Levothyroxine

Help with blood results
I recently posted here for advice on whether I need levothyroxine as I have been subclinical for 10 years and now my tsh seems to be creeping up the last few weeks from 4.88 to 5.59 and now 6.15 all in the space of 3/4 weeks. I wonder if it is linked to the introduction of testosterone, I started hrt

What are you supposed to do......
GP reduces Levo to get TSH within range.Patient returns to GP with hypo symptoms again. Patient explains that they feel best when T4 (which always gets tested if TSH below range) is nearing top of range. Patient shows GP private results showing T4 roughly mid-range. GP says they cannot accept

UPDATE: Monitor My Health advanced thyroid test results
I'm back with more test results 😅 I will attach screenshots of the results. It looks as though my antibody levels are quite high, t4 is still low (although according to the GPs range it'll be 'normal' to them 🙄) Some of you already mentioned it's probably autoimmune related, would these results make

DHEA medication /Hashi flare?
My DHEA was less than 10 (106 - 300) so my thyroid Dr gave me a prescription for DHEA. Has anyone had headaches after taking them? I’ve been four weeks in and too early to tell if they are working. Be grateful for any feedback. I also think I’m having a Hashimoto flare, my own fault if it is. Two days

Feeling rather blue
So I've been at a fairly useless clinic for the past 5 years - managed 2xICI and 1 egg collection with 2 embryos at the end. All chemicals/ failures. I had a consultation with one of the consultants about my treatment. He dismissed any supplements other than folic acid and vitamin D. Said my AMH (12.07

I was borderline again last time and have a blood test end of Feb due to be discharged if ok but I think as I keep being borderline they're not sure what to do with me. Change in thyroid tests as I taper Prednisone
I am 3.5 years into PMR. Honestly can't remember what my Levothyroxine dose was before I was diagnosed however throughout my battle with PMR I was taking 100mcg. and GP added 5mcg Liothyronine in 2020 as I apparently wasn't converting my T4. I had finally tapered to 5mg of Pred in March 2023 and my

has anyone gone back to t4 after trying thyroid-s?
Hello, Happy 2024 to everyone! May it bring you health and happiness! Ive had a crazy year with Thyroid-s and while i like the feel of the medicine - im not sure it loves me back! At 1.25 grains my results where tsh 0.6 and ft3 just in range, while t4 slightly under. I tried increasing to 1.5 grains
