Dummy transfer and scan done
Just had my scan done and dummy transfer. Oh boy was that painful even though I took co-codamol. Doctor said my bladder was full which makes it more painful. But all done now. Scan shows 2 follicles on left and 2 on right side but that was expected due to my low AMH. I was asked to take high dose

Tamoxifen for natural modified cycle.
Hi everybody. I'm new here 😊 I had an appointment in the clinic today and I'm getting ready for the upcoming cycle. Due to a very low amh I will try natural modified protocol and I was prescribed 150 of Bemfola. Then I read about good results when you add Tamoxifen or Letrozol to it but my consultant

Can sleeping tablets make sleep apnea worse?
Hi all, just had a quick question - can herbal sleeping tablets worsen sleep apnea? I am not actually diagnosed with it yet, but strongly suspect that that a what's happening. Took some herbal sleep aid last night and as soon as I was drifting off I would stop breathing every time. Woke myself up a few

Next step advice
Hi ladies. Just after some advice, I am 40 and have amh of 6.6 I have just had a failed fresh cycle where we had 2 good embryos transferred and 1 frozen. The next obvious step would be to move to FET. However I have been thinking of asking for a fresh cycle again. My thinking being I don’t want to fail

Question about private IVF osts
Another post.... I had private consultancy for IVF recently and they told me that due to my super high AMH, they would not do a fresh transfer but freeze all embies down and do a frozen cycle later. In their price list they list the price for a fresh and a frozen cycle, so would my scenario (fresh cycle

Going for my autoimmune hepatitis appointment this week after a 2yr wait
I’d put the post above up 2 year ago, can anyone give me advice on questions to ask at this initial appointment with the hepatologist this week please. I’d positive antibodies for autoimmune hepatitis and elevated liver enzymes. Many thanks 🎈

Short Flare protocol- just one scan scheduled for 6/7 days after taking gonal f injections-enough???
Hi all :) As above just one scan with view to collection 4/5 days later. Shouldn't there be more scans? Perhaps sooner to guage my bodys reaction? I have very low amh and on gonal f 350 mg injections. What if i'm over/under reacting and they miss it causing cycle to be a disaster? We paid a lot for this

Just had a MRE
Just an update....I had a fibroscan several months ago, just after I was diagnosed with PBC, that showed stage 2-3 fibrosis. It was a real shocker considering I feel good, my labs were not terrible, and I appeared to be in good health. My hepatologist was also a bit surprised at the results so I was

Early menopause or thyroid?
I really need some advice because I don’t know what’s going on since I have had blood tests done privately and with GP and I have been told there is no issue. I am 36 For the last 18 months I have had my usual 3-5 day medium/light periods drop to just 1-3 days super super light. My periods have been

Melatonin helps sleep
Any words of wisdom regarding Melatonin as sleep aid? I've always been a light sleeper, sensitive to sounds, light, etc. in the past (50 years now), I blamed this problem on having raised children, always aware of unusual sounds, etc., in the night, which translates to interrupted sleep.. With PMR

Change of clinic, change of attitude
I’ve had a productive couple of weeks recently that I wanted to share here as this forum helped me get out of my despair. I received NHS funding for 2 cycles at an excellent clinic in London, and have had my first consultation there - love the doctor. She said one failed IVF cycle doesn’t indicate needing

IVF started today!
Our story so far... I am 35 and my husband is 34. We've been trying to conceive for just over 2 years. All test results on his side are fine, most tests on my side are fine apart from me having a low AMH of 3.4. they say this shouldn't affect natural fertility, but here we are now, starting IVF. My follicle

Newly diagnosed... Here are some obstacles and pitfalls to avoid before you fall into them!
Hello chat room friends and family. I created post a couple years back with help from the wonderful members of this chat room. They helped fill in the gaps that I missed in what turned into a fantastic post that has a timely effect for all the newly diagnosed that deal with this monster we call MS. It

Recommendations for Non Alcoholic and Artificial sweeteners free drinks
Dont know if it's just me or part of these diseases (
AIH
& PBC) but I can't seem to tolerate artificial sweeteners. And with Christmas fast approaching I was wondering if anyone could recommend some nice non alcoholic drinks without artificial sweeteners in them. Thanks
