Another day, another question...
Hi ladies So yesterday my AMH results came back as high (33.5). Today they have written to me and said that they would recommend doing a freeze all cycle as their research shows that fresh cycles with high AMH aren’t very successful. It seems a bit strange given that we haven’t even tried IVF yet and

AMH question
Hi ladies, hope you are all well. Quick question Just had AMH redone after 2 years. I was 29.5 then and it’s gone up to 33.5 (I’m now 36) 2 questions: Firstly how the blooming hell has it gone up, is it not supposed to go down? That’s what the nurse told me to expect. Second Is it a bad thing that

6 eggs 🥚
I had 6 eggs collected today and now I’m waiting for the nurse to call tomorrow to see how many have fertilised. I feel so down ;( I’m only 25 with an amh of 36.4 so thought I’d have way more eggs

How to start receive egg donor
Hi, quick story about me. Had both Fallopian tube removed, low AMH, went 2 ivf cycles with immature eggs. So now I am thinking to start using egg donor cause I can’t use mine, so I am asking if anyone here used any egg donor before? Any supplements should I take prior to egg donor transfer? Few months

My greetings, forumers! A few days ago I've read somewhere an article about a new and unique method to get pregnant in your 40s with your own eggs. Unfortunately, it is not impossible for me as I use DE, but there are many of you whose OE are still alive and can be used. I hope this may help. I just

Hi, I'm new to this forum and have been really moved by alot of the posts and the support voiced out there. I have huge respect for the grit and determination of so many amazing women! I'm 45 trying with FET. I did not meet my partner until I was 40, got pregnant naturally not long after, had a miscarriage

No embryos on first cycle - struggling to come to terms
My first IVF cycle 2 weeks ago resulted in only 3 eggs, despite having AMH of 14 and having max dosage of both Gonal F and Menopur. They decided on day to do icsi. Only 1 egg was mature, failed to fertilise. The other two matured over night and only 1 fertilised. The clinic doesn't transfer/freeze unless

Low AMH peeps and 2nd IVF cycle- how did results differ from first round?
Hi all, am considering our next options and wondering if your chances of success/ producing eggs are lower on second (or more) rounds of IVF if you have a low AMH? Am sort of worried that I may have used up eggs on my last round?! My AMH was 3.4. Also, should I have my AMH levels retested to see if

Antral Follicle Count (AFC) Test Results
Hi everyone, I had a Antral Follicle Count (AFC) Test done on day 14 (middle of my cycle) and was wondering if it was the best time to have it done? I had the scan to measure the thickness of my womb mid cycle and they did the Antral Follicle Count (AFC) Test at the same time. We are currently under

Title says it all. Sometimes I actually can’t believe that I’m 34 years old and going through menopause. Mental. In hindsight I can see that I’d had symptoms for years but the most important clue, irregular periods, didn’t come until much later, by which point my AMH was already 0.1 and it was already

+ AMA; Slightly elevated ALT
Last year I had my annual blood test and my ALT was slightly elevated at 45 normal is (0-32); Since it was elevated I demanded testing for hepatitis, hemochromatosis,
AIH
and PBC. Well my AMA M2 was positive. All other testing was negative.

Confused after follow up appointment
I had my follow up appointment yesterday to discuss my failed ICSI and I’ve come away so confused. The doctor told me my eggs were of a good quality I had a good number for my AMH level (4.1) which was all very reassuring. However then I was told that the chances of getting that many again (8 eggs)

Egg collection.
Hi, this is my first IVF cycle due to male infertility and suspected pco. I started 150 meriofert last Monday and when I went for my scan they said I had 5 which were over 10mm. I have had my second scan today and now have 8 follicles over 10mm with 3 reaching 13-14mm. I thought I’d have more follicles

Experience with DHEA
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light of their experience using DHEA please. I’ve had two failed cycles of IUI, then had my AMH done and discovered it was very low at 2.1 (I’m 34yrs). Previous to starting treatment (12 months ago) I found out my FSH was 10.1. As this was high I started
