When to be concerned?
Hello all, I initially came on here when I was around 23 and TTC (I'm 31 now). Me and my partner sought help after TTC for 1 year without success. Turns out, I had PCOS but ovulated naturally and cycles were regular, not overweight and no physical symptoms of the syndrome, and partners sperm analysis

At Home Fertility Tests (need to check if legit company)
---EDIT--- Name of company at bottom of post. Hi ladies, In Nov we said goodbye to our NHS clinic as we have exhausted our NHS-funded IVF rounds and are off in the big scary world of Private treatment. We will be TTC naturally again whilst we save for IVF but I do want to get my AMH tested as I am

Long protocol w/ high AMH - help!
Happy New Year! I can’t believe I am writing this, but I am gearing up for my FOURTH cycle 🤦🏼♀️ I am trying the long protocol for the first time, but slightly nervous because most doctors don’t recommend it if you have high AMH (mine is 33). But, I need to try something different as I have such

Home AMH test
Hi all, I've had lots of screening blood tests, progesterone, FSH and LH etc. done at the doctor's but they don't do AMH, rather than spend the time trying to get it done at a private clinic (nothing is easy on this journey is it!) I'm thinking of getting a home test kit, has anyone used these before

Hi everyone, I am in need of some advice on continuing with DHEA and COQ10 ubiquinol. I am due to start taking Norethisterone on Tuesday this week, with injections starting on the 18th. When is it best to stop taking DHEA and COQ10? I am also taking Folic Acid (obviously) Vit B, D and E, Omega 3,

Ok elimination project done.
Jaundice, nausea, headache, dizziness, speech issues but, what upset me the most, was the fact that when I said what is going on with my head, it was cast off because their main issue was my
AIH
flare. They said nothing about my fuzzy head or the fact couldn't recognize words or write letters.

Empty Follicle Syndrome
Has anyone had empty follicle syndrome and gone on to have a normal round where eggs were collected? I’m 43 years old witch a pretty good AMH and FSH. My first IVF cycle produced 20+ follicles but only 7 were retrieved, 4 were mature and 3 made it to 5/6 day AB blasts. I know there is a lot out there

Dreaded call
Hi everyone Had the call from the embryologist that my 1 fertilised egg didn’t make it to day 2. Absolutely gutted I was so optimistic that this cycle will be different and that despite my age (42) and low AMH and low AFC that I only need one. But not this time 😔

Our October Holiday.
A plan comes together.
After a positive report at my appointment at the Oncologist Clinic, in the middle of August 2019, I decided to take a further leap of faith and go back to The Broads to sneak in another week. My thoughts are to take my son with us this time, I try to treat my 2 children

Living life to the full
Hi Somewhere, I had a cardiac arrest in 2011, spent 4 weeks in a coma in ICU, finally decided to wake up and breathe for myself .... and haven't looked back since! All true, except for the last bit. The question 'why me?' is still something I ask myself. I answer myself by thinking that I was exceptionally

Does having AIH automatically mean that cirrhosis will occur at some point.
I was diagnosed in April, aged 71, prescribed Pred (now down to 9mg) and Aza (discontinued pro tem as it caused vomiting) but I feel almost as well as before I became ill in February.

Prednisolone v. Prednisone
I have been on Prednisolone since my treatment for
AIH
started and will continue with my usual monthly blood tests to monitor things. However, there seems to be a shortage of 1mg tablets so I have had 1mg Prednisone tablets dispensed to me instead.

Ovulation testing??
Hi ladies, Hoping for some insight. My husband and I did two rounds of failed IVF this year and our clinic advises a 5/6months break in between cycles so we won’t be trying again until April/May 2020. I have a low AMH but no male factor and my tubes are clear. When we were first started trying I used

Hi any advice on slow follicle growth I’m 42 years old with low AMH and low follicle numbers, 6 in total. I’m on a modified cycle letrozole for 5 days then merifert 150IU for 4 days so far. Had a scan today and only 3 follicles have reached to 11 in size the other a lot smaller. I’m to continue taking

First FET failure
Dealing with my first failed FET Hi ladies, I am 42 and found out that my first FET has failed despite the fact that my embryo was PG tested. I know that ivf success rates for women at my age are low. My AMH is 15.5. Should I just give up and move on with my life? I would be keen to hear some positive
