Advice on hormonal treatment?
hi all, 10 days post-lap here. Unfortunately ended up losing my left ovary and tube - had 4 endometriomas on it, 1 of which was 8cm, and this was all adhered to my rectum. So the surgeon said it needed to come out. I’m waiting for a post-op appointment but the consultant said the endo will likely come

Is it normal after receiving two firmagon shots in the abdomen for the injection areas to be hard?
I qualified for a cutting edge trial at Yale, unfortunately they won’t let me do it until I’m back on a SOC
ADT
drug for two months. I bit the bullet because I’m allowed to stay on the estrogen gel to control the hot flashes. I had my first firmagon shots Tuesday. Two needles in the abdomen.

I posted previously on this long and tortuous journey to ( almost) a diagnosis. Do CRPC cancer cells always or usually act different then CSPC cancer cells, or do they sometimes act similar to CRPC?
If someone is castration sensitive (on
ADT
pause) and their psa is 40 (for example), and they show very little suspected cancer (5mm spot for example) on a PSMA PET scan or an Axumin scan, then is it likely that castration resistant cancer show very little (5mm), as well, on a PSMA PET or Axumin scan

New study validates intermittent hormone therapy
PCRI just posted a new video titled 'New study validates intermittent hormone therapy'. So, just search 'PCRI' in YouTube and that video will pop up. Certain individuals on this site feel strongly against curtailing the duration of hormone therapy from the standard 2 to 3 years or even longer. I urge

Hello there, I’ve been dealing with this since 1/2015. I’ve had brachytherapy, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, cyber knife, immunotherapy, more chemotherapy, now taking Everolimus and letrozole. I’ve always felt that this was a chronic disease after the medications stopped working onto the next regimen

Cycling and loss of power on ADT
I’ve been a cyclist fo over 20 years and used to do ultra distance cycling. (Over 20 double centuries and the Furnace Creek 508) I’m now taking both Nubeqa and Orgovyx and have mostly been riding an eBike, but today went out on my regular road bike. It was a struggle to finish 37 miles with an average

I am on
ADT
plus abi for the last 4.5 years. Getting to where I should start thinking about when it stops working. I have been looking into BAT. Seems that works better with Enza as opposed to Abi. I am going to discuss with my MO but do you think I should change now as opposed to too late?

Allergic reaction to Doxil, my first ever chemo infusion
Hi everyone, Has anyone experienced an allergic reaction to Doxil? Almost three years ago, I was diagnosed with stage 4 MBC. After being on hormone therapy for over two years, mostly IBrance and Letrozole, and then oral chemo for six months, my most recent petscan showed the cancer is still spreading
