Sea Food Allergy Question
I am allergic to most fish and shell fish. Do you think it would be safe for me to eat sea weed? Like with sushi without fish for example? I haven't really tried because I am extremely paranoid about my food allergies (the past two times I have accidentaly eaten sea food I've ended up with adrenalin,

Scared, confused and in need to help
It took 4 lots of
adrenaline
, lots of nebs and steriods to control it and the rebound reaction I had. No-one seems to be talking to anyone, let alone me. neither consultant seems to want to see me. No-one will do any tests to confirm what is going on. I am so confused and scared.

English Prescriptions (why not for free?)
I also suffer from a severe allergy to Peanuts and nuts, factor 5 yet I have to pay for my
adrenaline
pen for that also. If other people can have glaucoma and diabetes and get thier medication for free, then why can't I? I hope I'm not coming across as selfish but that's the way I see it.

Missing work...
It was the worst I've ever had - crashed in the ambulance and ended up on IV
adrenaline
, hydrocortisone, saline and potassium as well as the lovely nebs. The GP signed me off for ten days, and I'm due to return on Thursday.

How do people get through the day if still able to work? Whilst Im at work I generally survive on adrenalin and the love of my job. However, it feels like the minute I walk through the door my energy totally is delpeted and I have to sit or often lay down and thats me done for the day. Does anyone else

I’ve got to learn how to say no!
Many of you will be aware that it is NRAS’ 10th birthday this year and that we have lots going on to celebrate. Tea for 10 is a brilliant way of celebrating our 10th Birthday with friends and family over a slice of cake and a cuppa, while raising money at the same time. For those who want a bit more

Cooeee I am still alive.......just :-)
Have I over done it or what? We never learn do we... Sorry to all those waiting with baited breath to find out how the Lunch went. We certainly had a brilliant time. It was so informative and really brought home how much NRAS has brought the profile of RA up in medical circles and elswhere. I

Oops I'm running out of spoons!
Morning, it's been a long night. I've been running on adrenalin this week. Felt wonderful, got lots done and was very motivated. Now comes the pay back. Little sleep last night as my arms were twanging. That's my way of describing what feels like they are guitar strings which have been strummed and won't

How did you come to terms with your illness?
I managed to battle through my show on
adrenaline
and thankfully the joint pain went away. My gp surgery made me wait until January for my results so I assumed they hadn't found anything wrong, but when i went back I was told I had positive ANA and a few other things which point to lupus.

Week 8 run 1 in a running stylee
In my warped mind I thought I have 2 more training runs before my race, yes I got the start date wrong and delayed my training so I don't make week 9 by the start, however I reckon the
adrenaline
will get me through the last 2 minutes or so.

Palpitations don't know what to do.
Im newly diagnosed in February, I'm on hydroxychloroquine since February. Not had many problems just some stomached cramps nothing I can't handle. I forgot to take my tablets on Friday and woke up on Saturday feeling rather rubbish, nothing new there I wake up feeling poo most mornings. Usually I feel

Our runners are fab!
What a great weekend we had! Our annual NRAS 10k run took place last Sunday in the beautiful grounds of Hughenden Manor in High Wycombe. It was rather an early start for the Fundraising team as we had to be ready for action by 7.00 am! The weather was kind to our runners, not one drop of rain fell
