My Bladder Cancer Update.
My latest flexy cystoscopy showed I had no tumour in my bladder, backing up what was said in Autumn 2023 and that was a complete turn-around. Seems my BCG has worked in as far as there si no tumour growth. I still have cancer cells because I have cancer in situ (CIS) but at moment is low grade. So

I am a PwP and 56 years old. I'm a bit overwhelmed with all of the information, sometimes conflicting, out there regarding treatments and supplements. I am trying to determine what to try first. I am a predominantly tremor parkie. I exercise regularly & eat well. I take levadopa 25/100 4x a day.

Home pressure monitor to hire?
Hi all,So 17 months after my trab surgery after everything has been stable, suddenly I'm getting frequent terrible headaches. My local optician tested my pressure for me but by the time I had the appointment the headache had subsided. The pressure was raised by 5 points so my hunch is it was on its way

amlodipine
I am just out of hospital having suffered an atypical heart attack (no pain) and have been put on Losartan to lower blood pressure. Unfortunately it is dropping diastolic pressure to much. Doctor wanted to try a ca channel blocker and I think I read on this site that some people were able to take amlodipine

Steroids for digital ulcer
I have Reynauds, Scleroderma, and Sjogrens. I have been referred to a rheumatologist but only seen GP so far. I have been prescribed steroids (4 x 5mg per day , for 3 days, then reducing number per day) . I am in agonising pain with little effect when I take them. The pain increases in the evening

Oncolytic Virotherapy Platform Designed to Target All Tumor Sites: we will have some news soon, oncolytics are very promising (CLD-201)
– Preclinical models have demonstrated the ability to resist oncolytic virus inactivation by human serum and target diverse tumor types – Novel therapeutic approach allows for ease of administration, increased cost-effectiveness, and the ability to reach a broad patient population Enough for me to

DOAC - changes
Some time ago, I started Rivaroxaban but stopped due to side effects. Was switched to Apixaban but had more (different) side effects from that. My GP was very helpful and suggested Edoxaban. It appears that the choice of DOAC is as much random rather than individually considered for the patient! At

AF with Bisoprolol
I have been switched from Disopyramide to Bisoprolol because Disopyramide was out of stock. I am now in AF and while Bisoprolol seems to be constraining my Heart Rate, I have been in AF nearly all day, and it’s not great. With Disopyramide twice a day, the next dose would resolve any AF, the Bisoprolol

Things, regimens, etc that are probably RLS worthless.
THINGS THAT DO NOT WORK FOR RLS All of us with RLS/PLMD have slightly different symptoms. We have tried various 'remedies' to try to relieve our RLS symptoms. We have read articles, some interesting, some ridiculous (bar of soap) that make amazing promises. And there is an entire array of things to

Cataract surgery?
Has anyone had any cataract surgery while taking Pegasys? Is there a problem with eye surgery while taking Interferon? I'm about to be changed over to Pegasys from Hydrea, and also about to have cataract surgery. Some of the things I've read seem to indicate that may be a problem.
