New Year- New Challenges.
After 3 inconclusive biopsies, and examining my health records they decided that it was most probably a 'Pleomorphic
Adenoma
', I was told that it was probably connected to two benign tumours taken from my neck in 1974, 1984 respectively. The last one being treated with 'Radium'.

liver resection - nearly 3 years on
hi, I had my liver resection in sept 2020 due to a large liver
adenoma
(tumour) inside that had ruptured (unknown to me that it existed). Nearly 3 years on, I still get so much pain around my scar which is all the way across my abdomen.

Any experience with an adrenal adenoma. not to the level of cushings syndrome, that might cause osteoporosis?
A CT on my lungs showed incidentally an adrenal
adenoma
. Doing some research I read it might be a silent cause of bone loss. Before my appt with my gp next week, I just wondered if anyone has any experience or knowledge of this.

'Headspin'
The thinking of the Multi Discipline Team (MDT) was that the tumour may be a residue from the earlier operation on my Parotid gland, and which was a 'Pleomorphic
Adenoma
' which is usually a Benign.

I have a diagnosis and it's not hashimotos, it's acromegaly
It's caused by a small benign
adenoma
in the pituitary gland leading to too much growth hormone being released. I am now on the waiting list to have the
adenoma
removed. As it was discovered fairly quickly, it is small enough to give me an excellent prognosis once it has been surgically removed.

Thyroidectomy or not? Thyroidmegaly and multi modular goiter.
Family history is strong for Hashimoto and my grandmother passed at a young age of 32 and thyroid and parathyroid were not present at autopsy, also a pituitary issue as I have a pituitary
adenoma
non functional 7mm micro. Any help, any questions, any labs that may be important let me know.

Hemithyroidectomy
My husband needs to have one of his parathyroid glands removed as he has a parathyroid
adenoma
which is causing medical issues. He has been told the surgeon may need to remove a portion of his thyroid (hemithyroidectomy) to access the "diseased" gland.

Urine Calcium Test tips?
the pin point accuracy of the results aren’t too important to me I just want to see if I’m obviously above or below normal to help with forcing some action regarding parathyroid
adenoma
. If it’s normal then I have to accept that with PTH normal then watch and wait is correct.

Total Gastrectomy
I am due to have one in November due to a large
adenoma
in my stomach which they cannot be 100% sure does not have cancer in. Obviously I am very scared at the prospect of having no stomach. I have had APS for 30 odd years. Many thanks

hypothyroid following partial thyroidectomy. Question about HRT and optimum T4 levels.
Dear forum, I am 58. 3 months ago while having parathyroid
adenoma
removed, I also had partial thyroidectomy. This was because thyroid nodule was discovered during scans looking for the
adenoma
. The nodule was examined and contained micropapliiary carcinoma.

From my post on the Thyroid website
I had a meningioma removed in 2015 this was originally diagnosed incorrectly as a Macro Pituitary
Adenoma
. I’m feeling / exhibiting classic thyroid related symptoms. Intolerance to cold: shivers when it’s hot . Fluctuation weight etc etc My body is telling me something is not right .?

Co-morbidities with B12D/PA
I just spoke with the hospital concerning a check-up on my parotid gland - a pleomorphic
adenoma
I had removed in 2020 along with a co-occurring thyroid nodule removal. They state that they want to keep monitoring the parotid area, even though it's coming up to three years since surgical removal.

UPDATE on Adrenal mass: Developed covid in June, mass found in ER--GCA Patient since 2018
Both scans showed non-specific uptake in adrenals, but results that are not consistent with adrenal
adenoma
. I am waiting for an appointment with urology to discuss further diagnostic options.
