Dear friends, I have had a CT scan and PET scan with contrast of my adrenals. Both scans showed non-specific uptake in adrenals, but results that are not consistent with adrenal adenoma. I am waiting for an appointment with urology to discuss further diagnostic options. Basically, the adrenals didn't light up in the scans dramatically enough that the radiologist feels convinced I have cancer. There was uptake however and the characteristics of edges of the mass are concerning them. Basically I am hurrying from chair to chair and waiting waiting waiting. The good news is they've not found cancer anywhere else. I've had many tests looking for some, too.

Has anyone ever had an adrenal biopsy or removal of adrenal gland ? I'm gathering information ahead of time.

Thank you and hope to hear from you soon Blurry

Hi I had adrenal removed last April . Since then I am on hydrocortisone 35g per day as my other adrenal gland never woke up . I have tried several time to reduce to 30g per day but always end up back in hospital with adrenal crisis . I feel really tired all the time and my muscles ache and joints too . To be honest I felt better with the tumour was still inside me
