I have
Adenocarcinoma
stage 4, following half left lung removal in March . CT in August showed spread to right lung. I've been through 4 cycles of pem/carb chemo but recent ct showed continued spread in the right lung. Surgery is no longer an option as too widespread.

Unexpected finding reveals new target for aggressive form of lung cancer.
Targeted therapies are currently available for about one-third of people with lung
adenocarcinoma
, the most common kind of lung cancer. These drugs inhibit cancer cells by thwarting the molecular changes that drive them to grow while largely sparing healthy tissues.

In remission for 9 years today!
Just a short good news posting - 9 years ago today I had a TAH, BSO and omentectomy and was subsequently diagnosed with stage 1a seromucinous
adenocarcinoma
. I did not need chemo and have never had a recurrence.

The path report came in on 11/03 as an

My options in dealing with a metastasis
My Uro did a biopsy of the met that extended into the bladder and that came back as
adenocarcinoma
with no sign of neuroendocrine cancer. Specimen was sent to Foundation One and waiting for results.

Chicken Squawks!
A bio in May revealed
adenocarcinoma
in 11/12; gleason of 4+3. My URO referred me to Dr Behari Ashish a distinguished URO LAP surgeon here locally at Wellspan. They wanted to do RP. I requested time to get a second op. I contacted Dr. Misop Han @ John Hopkins. JH did a slide review.

Ovarian & Breast Cancer
I was diagnosed with OC serous low grade 3c in December 2017 and just received diagnosis of metastatic
adenocarcinoma
of the breast in August 2020. Needless to say I am shocked.

Changes to cervical cancer screening
‼️ Had my test been this year, they would have missed my CGIN and stage 1b1
adenocarcinoma
, I’d have been sent away for 3 years and not survived much longer than that https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/549631

Confirmation of Importance of Galactin-3
Here, we show that prostate CSCs also colonizing prostate-draining lymph nodes of transgenic
adenocarcinoma
of the mouse prostate (TRAMP) mice overexpress Gal-3.

How do you calculate cancer free years?
Hi All, I was diagnosed with 2B non small cell
