My dad’s diagnosis stage 3a adenocarcinoma. Feel 💔
It’s stage 3a
adenocarcinoma
. Waiting for the treatment plan with the oncologist to start quickly. I feel 💔 Symptoms were ignored by medics last year and someone saw a growth last June in his lung and never told us. I just hope we can get treatment quickly and there’s a positive path ahead.

New and scared
I’ve just been diagnosed with Metastatic
adenocarcinoma
of the lung and am starting palliative treatment of Carboplatin/Pemetrexed/Pembrolizumab therapy on Tuesday. This all has come completely out of the blue to me, and I understand very little of what I might expect.

Changing from Adenocarcinoma to small cells or Neuroendocrine?
Can it be
Adenocarcinoma
turn to small cells or Neuroendocrine? My dad’s bone metastasis when diagnostic of prostate cancer but only recently he feels hurt / uncomfortable at hip and / or leg. Thank you in advance for your sharing and comments.

Another 'alternative' therapy: phenothiazines (Phenergan)
2 years ago, when I was diagnosed with Stage 4
adenocarcinoma
, a friend pointed me towards https://www.canceractive.com/article/using-phenergan-promethazine-to-treat-cancer which certainly looked interesting.

What does recent biopsy mean positive for NKX3.1?
Results reveal tumor cells in iliac node positive for NKX 3.1 while INSM1 & synaptophysin "show very rare positive cells." and
adenocarcinoma
in one lung. A chromogranin A test shows an upward trend, from 52 (9/20) to 86 (11/21). We're meeting with his oncologist tomorrow.

Ovarian Cancer clinical trial - ACTOv
I haven't had a diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer myself, but I am a twice diagnosed patient myself- Wilms tumour in 1991 and Cervical
adenocarcinoma
in 2019, so finding out about new treatments on the trials I am involved with gives me hope for future patients.
