Advice please - wrong tests done at the lab
Hi Guys A slightly long post - please bear with me as I have a few questions that I need advice on. I have Hashimotos hypothyroidism. I went to see my Endo last Friday after having my bloods done a few days before. As my parathyroid was out previously, I had the test early morning as usual as instructed

The SELECT Trial, Selenium & Vitamin D Supplementation.
The SELECT trial (Selenium and Vitamin E Cancer Prevention Trial) [1] opened July 25, 2001. It was the most expensive PCa prevention trial to date. 35,533 men. It is touted by some as the last word on the subject of selenium supplementation (& vitamin E, which I might write about one day). However

Advice about aching arms - could it be thyroxine dose, D3 or iron related?
I've been on 50mg of Levo thyroxine since June 2018 when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I hadn't been aware of any symptoms pre diagnosis but by July I had noticeable weakness in my forearms and since August I've been experiencing constant pain and weakness in my forearms and biceps. My GP is not

Vitamin D3 and Bisoprolol.
Been given by gp vitamin D3 as she thinks my pins and needles and cramps are down to a deficiency in D vit deficiency. Anyway I’ve looked but can’t see an answer. When is the best time to take the vitamin? I take 2.5mg of bisoprolol in morning when I awake. Around 9-10am. As vitamin affects melatonin

Update on Lansoprazole and Doxycycline
Woo hoo! I CAN take them at the same time. I have just spoken to the pharmacist who said it's ok. BUT, I can't take my AdCal until two hours later! She confirmed that it's to do with the calcium content. Thanks to everyone who took the trouble to reply to my earlier post. xx Moy

Taking Folic Acid and Vitamin D3 with Oatmeal ?
I have oatmeal (Porridge) in the morning for breakfast. I do this because I have high cholesterol and GP put me on statins but I don’t take statins because adjusting my diet and especially having Oatmeal works very well and lowers the cholesterol so I never take statins. So my question is Oatmeal absorbs

Advice for K2 please
I know there have been posts about K2 but can`t remember what was said. My Rheumy has taken me off Adcal. I take Vit D but wonder what effect large doses of Adcal have had on my arteries. Where is the best place to get K2 if I decide I need it?

low t3 & corrected calcium
I am in Jersey CI, & was bedridden for years. Then a friend gave me some old T3's which improved things a lot. But still no diagnosis from GP. I eked out the increasingly weak 5 year old T3, then bought some metavive 111. Things improved a lot more, though T3 serum even lower, & TSH now in range, but

How I Completely Eliminated The PD Related Pain
I was diagnosed in March last year but had some symptoms for years. Before starting Thiamine, I had pins and needles and bad pain on the left side of my body (affected side) 24/7. The pain subsided greatly after starting high dose Thiamine but still had some. Few more things have helped me to eliminate
