Stent
Hi, Last year I had an angiogram. It showed a fast heartbeat and a right artery blockage of 70% I am taking procoralan 5mg daily. The cardiologist said there is no threat to me so that's very positive. If I remain symptomatic he may consider putting in a stent. I have discomfort in my chest, a heavy

Medication side affects after NSTEMI
Hi, Male, 47, I appear to be suffering a few side affects of medication following a minor heart attack (if there is such a thing) that was treated with a small stent, 9 months ago. (Atorvastatin, Lansoprazole, Ramipril, Clopidogrel, Bisoprolol, Asprin) These include regularly waking up during the

buprenorphine dose
I’m in the US, and just started a Suboxone Rx two weeks ago at dosage of 2/.5. I’d like to get lower dosage if I can, but I don’t see any US companies advertising the .2/.05 tablets that you have in UK. I’ve found that using 1/4 strip every other day works fine for me. I assume the long half-life

First and foremost, I really have to thank all on here that contribute so much time and knowledge to those of us in need. It is very much appreciated. My basic history: I remember back in college around 1998, my calves would go crazy at night like spiders crawling under my skin. It would come and

Switched from Methadone at 10 mg to Buprenorphine 10 mcg
Good Morning, As of June 2023, I began with 5 mg of methadone, and gradually increased it to 20 mg by August. I reported to the forum in early November, a transformation occurred, with the leg spasms virtually gone, caused by RLS at night. I began tapering off, and reduced it to 7.5 mg and have remained

Neupro Patch Weaning
I’ve read most of the forum’s input regarding Neupro Patches and relayed the information to the physician. He has decided to optimize the Gabapentin dose and discontinue the patch. A bit of history…….. the patch was started 12/19/23…10 days ago. Prior to that, ropinirole was weaning off (dose on

Escape from Augmentation
I have continued to make progress on my path to getting my dopamine receptors back to somewhere near normal. I last used a DA patch in September. I am using buprenorphine patches and pregabalin as RLS blockers to assist in the process. There is some improvement (perhaps 60%) in my sleep regime and in

Devestated - empty looking sac at 7 week scan
Hello, I’ve had a whirlwind of a few weeks which included a totally unselected BFP following our last round of ovulation induction before moving to IVF in the new year. Of course I was anxious but really thought this could be my lucky break and naturally got carried away imagining future baby. Today

Hydrocodone to Tramadol?
So the USA ran out of Hydrocodone 10/325 due to DEA putting limits on annual production. My last fill was 11-6-23. Luckily I had saved up 90 units for emergency (proof I'm not abusing) but that ran out yesterday. I asked my doc to prescribe tramadol hcl 50mg to get by until production resumes. Started

Do I have heart failure or heart disease?
This is my first post. Back in 2019 I had what felt like "flutterings" and breathlessness/dizziness. I was diagnosed with arrhythmia. A 24 hour ecg showed ventricular ectopic beats. An echocardiogram showed mild valve leakages but no obvious cardiomyopathy. I was advised to stop/reduce my caffeine

repost - cancer progression - next steps?
I am reposting in the hope of receiving a response regarding best next steps. Please see my profile for history on my dad's condition. He went to the ER last weekend with severe flank pain and CT revealed left-sided hydronephrosis as likely cystic soft tissue mass obstructing the left ureter. An anterograde

Arm Pain
Hi Everyone. I had a blockage in my main LAD and a stent fitted September 2020. I’ve been really well since then. Meds at the moment Aspirin and Atorvastatin. I’ve started to have aching arms. Not terrible but just a bit worried as that was the first symptom I had before I was diagnosed with Angina

What is an ICM?
An Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM) is a small thin device that is inserted under the skin on your breastbone to record the activity of your heart. It can remain in place for up to 3 years. The device will capture and record 'episodes'. The recorded data will be collated and assessed and help to diagnose
