Hi Lawsonduane, sorry to hear about your recent experience. It’s worth checking with your doctor but it’s possibly muscular pain or some inflammation around the stent. Remember that you have had an invasive procedure so your heart needs time to adjust. Take care.

Hi, Lawsonduane,

I am from the U.S. too, and I lived in Texas for about 10 years. I have had a HA, but no stents. My ex-husband, a native Texan, had six stents shortly after we got married. With those six stents, I do not recall him ever mentioning that he felt what you described.

Like others have mentioned, I would suggest that you discuss this with your doctor/specialist. Have it all checked out, and then you won’t worry.

Best wishes to you! 😊

Hi - Wishing you good health. I would definitely check with your physician. I am in California and had 4 stents placed last year in Jan 23 (there were 6 blockages and 2 were not stented). Just a month ago felt chest pain, went to emergency and now have a 5th one. First time, I did feel discomfort around my chest area for almost a month and then it disappeared. This time I felt it for about 2 weeks and if I focus on it then do notice a little pressure still. However please discuss it with your physician.
