Hi Everyone. I had a blockage in my main LAD and a stent fitted September 2020. I’ve been really well since then. Meds at the moment Aspirin and Atorvastatin. I’ve started to have aching arms. Not terrible but just a bit worried as that was the first symptom I had before I was diagnosed with Angina and stented 2 weeks later. No chest pain whatsoever. I walk every day and run twice a week plus Pilates two times per week. No issues doing any exercise. Anyone have any views? Thanks in advance x

if you have symptoms which worry you then I feel you should consult someone medical - we can’t diagnose here.
Thanks for your reply i am going to make an appointment. I just wondered if others had ever had the same symptoms ie achy arms. Wasnt looking for a diagnosis
Good morning. I think as you've noticed something that doesn't feel 'right' you'd feel better if you got it checked. A nagging concern can be tiring and can affect day to day life. Probably best if a professional lets you know what's what. Hope things go well for you
Yes, I get achy arms sometimes. I also get pain in the back of my throat on exertion. Previously I had a failed triple bypass followed by 4 stents (1 in 100% blocked LAD). My cardiologist just did another Angiogram and said the blood flow looked good and put me on more drugs. I know the LAD stent didn't fully deploy so maybe the blood flow on exertion isn't as good as it could be and I also have a blocked diagonal artery which they can't do anything for.I guess what I'm saying is we can still get bits of angina even when things are relatively ok. But, yes, definitely get checked out.
All the best

I tend get pains in my arms if ive had long day or had a lot of exertion but they tend to be localised to my forearms and backs of my hands, especially the left arm. I can also get pains under my left nipple.I had a heart attack in December and a stent fitted in the LAD.
Yes mainly my forearms, been incredibly busy and stressed with work so perhaps that doesnt help. Thanks for your reply
I suspect its referred pain. When i had my heart attack i had really had really bad pain in my wrist and my hand as well as what felt like at the time really bad heartburn pain.
For weeks after i had had the stent fitted I had random pains in various parts of my chest, not even near my heart and in my arms. This went away and as i say i only really get pain in my forearm or hand when im really knackered.
was out for a walk a few weeks ago.. suddenly had a tight chest and gradually a helluva pain going down my left arm that went into my hand.. went away after about 15 mins.. had the arm pain before but first time it’s actually travelled down into to my hand
