Feeling dizzy, breathless, jelly legs 3 hours after my dose
Hey everyone, Any ideas on this? I feel okay in the morning, okay late evening, but few hours after taking thyroid meds I start to feel tired, dizzy, breathless and my legs are like jelly. I take 86 mcg T4 and 23 T3 in Armour and synthetic T3 combined. I'm in a process of eliminating Armour and adding

A better appointment today!
After months of visiting the doctors surgery and having small levo increases with no change in my symptoms i have finally seen a sympathetic and intrigued doctor. He was reading my notes whilst i was explaining my symptoms and that 50mcg levo isn't cutting it, he stopped me in my tracks and said "no

How much to increase?
Good morning allI've had a few creeping symptoms recently, very irritable, less energy, needing to nap or rest more, niggles in my left hand and wrist, a morning of brain fog, a few palpitations which all seemed to come to head with very bad PMT last week when I was very tearful for a few days. I have

Recently diagnosed under active thyroid - Hashimoto's, bit confusing!
So pleased to have found this forum! I had a routine blood test followed by a call from the GP asking me questions about how i was feeling. I get tired easily but put all symptoms like that down to getting older and haven't really any other symptoms. I had glandular fever age 18 and since then have

Covid sent me from managed hypo to hyper…
Hi all, I had been on 60mcg T3 & 25mcg levo, 6mg LDN for two years, managed hypothyroidism. Prior to this I presented with normal tsh, low T3, and normal T4. Vit d, B12, Ferratin, Folate all normal. I caught Covid in August and a week later started having severe symptoms of — insomnia, muscle

Could chronic urticaria be related to underactive thyroid?
I've had under active thyroid for 5/6 years and have been on a dose of 50mcg of Levothyroxine for all of this time. This year I developed chronic urticaria and then a different kind of dermatitis/eczema and I want to rip my skin off it's so itchy. This week I did an Advanced Thyroid Function Blood Test

*Update* TEVA Success
Today I finally got my hands on a box of TEVA Levo! Hooray!!! 🥳 My usual pharmacy managed to get hold of some in the end. They even got extra and have put it aside for me for my next prescription. Sometimes standing your ground does pay off! 😁 It will be interesting to see if there will be a difference

Following my push to try and increase my FT3 levels (see my post of a few weeks ago) 3 weeks ago my consultant suggested I increase my Levo from 125mcg to 137.5 mcg for 2 months as he thought this might increase my T3, he had my graphs showing my FT3 was then at 15%. 2 weeks into the increase, which

vit d spray
I have just read through a thread of someone’s post and saw that it said the vit d spray did not need to be 4 hours away from levothyroxine, is that correct?

T4/T3 combo v T3 monotherapy
Hello, can someone fast track me towards content to considerations of T4/T3 combo versus T3 monotherapy. I am trawling Dr Google and found many references but nothing specific. Context. Good news after 4+ years struggling on Levo and a steady downward spiral in 2023 I took the plunge and self trialled
