Covid Vaccination Group 4 or 6?
I take both methotrexate and inject the biologic
abatacept
(Orencia) each week for my rheumatoid arthritis. In the first lockdown I was classed as clinically extremely vulnerable and told to shield.

Baracinitib (Jak) or abatacept for lupus/rheumatoid arthritis?
Hi! Has anyone used the one of the above to treat their lupus/rheumatoid arthritis? What were your side effects if you had any? Would you recommend it? Do you know the possible long-term issues it may cause? Or if you have any information on these drugs please let me know! Thanks!

Would like to know if anyone is taking the above injection for RA, at first I had a few cramps in both my legs, feeling light headed, swelling of hands. But I think my body is getting used to it. Rhumotologist prescriped it.

Tapering off Biologics two years later
I dropped MTX for a year and then slowly started to spread out the time between
Abatacept
Infusions. With
Abatacept
the Infusion rate is 1x month. I stretched that to every 10 days. When COVID came my doctor advised me to switch to self Injections.

The pattern has been having infusions at Hospital up to self injection of
Abatacept
at home. Some treatments were partly successful, others didn’t work at all and the working ones usually stopped working after 18 months. I know Biologics can be very successful but they don’t work for me.
