Hi. My husband and I had our COVID vaccinations yesterday. Very straightforward - no queues - no waiting (in fact they took us in early). I commented to the nurse how pleased I was to be there and she asked me to please spread the word which is what I am doing here. The only way we will beat this virus is by the maximum possible number of people receiving the vaccine.
By the way I am on Methotrexate, hydroxychloroquine, abatacept biological and various drugs relating to osteoporosis and heart failure.

Can't wait for mine. Will be there as soon as I get the text/letter or phone call. Glad it went so well. Have several relatives who have it. Over 70's have had no reaction. A 22 year old and 49 year old (Frontline health and social care workers) have complained of fatigue and painful arm. No stamina. 😂 x
Hi Thelmar, i too had my first jab today (the Oxford one) and was very impressed at how efficiently it was all organised - no queuing at all. So far no side effects, but it's early days of course. I am on Imraldi injections for R.Arthritis, but have opted out of taking methotrexate for now (my Consultant's idea) because of chronic ENT related problems. The good thing about Imraldi is that you don't have to have it with Methotrexate, unlike some of the other Anti TNF drugs, although it is of course more effective if you can take both. At the moment however, i am coping fairly well without the immuno suppressant.
