Hi everyone

Has anyone taken Orencia/ Abatacept, just started injecting 2 wks ago experience burning sensation on toungue, any advice ?

Oo no that's a strange one.Have you googled if it's on list of side effects ? If not after second injection and still same I would contact your rheumatologist team.I have been injecting it since last year and all good

I take abatacept, it's not a side effect that I have experienced, maybe call your help line for some advice.

Hi Angels54, I have been injecting Abatacept for about a year. I haven’t experienced a burning tongue either, I would agree with the others about talking to your rheumo team.

Do hope it resolves soon.

I have been taking it for about 5 weeks, sorry no burning sensation on my tongue, but have had leg cramps, and light headed when I started it.

I've was on this injection for 7 months but had to come off for a couple of reasons hope to start it again soon it worked fantastic for me no side effects cant wait to get back on good luck xx

I just stopped Abatacept due to an infection I was fine for a month then wham the worse flare up ever still struggling will be going back on it about 8th October it cant come quick enough
