Morning everyone I know its such a relief that the covid vaccines are being rolled out. My concern about live vaccines. Im PA/RA and take prednisolone and Abatacept i thought both vaccines out there now were not live. I listened to one of the scientists on television last week discussing how people who are immune suppressed cannot have live vaccine and AstraZeneca is live. When you see the roll out on TV all they only ever show AstraZeneca and not Pfizer am I worrying unnecessary I don't like to ring anyone.
Different subject thank you to everyone who gave me advice on my knee surgery which should have happened before Christmas. Not surprisingly it's been cancelled for the second time.

I’m an NHS nurse and on Abatacept, I was fortunate in having the Pfizer vaccine last Tuesday. I feel incredibly lucky to have been given it so early on in the vaccination programme. I have had no side effects other than an achy arm for a couple of days. I would have been happy with either the Pfizer or Oxford vaccination but just because of what different scientists have said I am glad that I was able to have the Pfizer one.
