Can anyone please tell me why most sites on internet say people with asthma can use
Symbicort
up to 8 times a day but with copd you have to stick to morning and evening doses? doesnt make a great deal of sense to me. thanks for your time.

I have been taking
symbicort
2puffs 2x daily. Also taking Monttelukast 10 mg 1x a day. So if an expert or MD is in here I want to say I quit taking the
symbicort
completely and feel better not taking it. Has it done it’s job and don’t need it any more for now?

Fostair 200/6 vs Symbicort Inhaler
Due to a frustration of the asthma not being under control, and needing too much time of work, I have opted for the
Symbicort
200/6 Inhaler. 1. For the Fostair Inhaler 200/6 I was prescribed 2 inhalations per day. 2.

I have been on
Symbicort
400/12 taking 2 puffs twice daily for 4 years and wondered if I should be issued with a steroid card. Thank you. 🙂

When I've read literature, it seems to suggest not using
symbicort
before exercise. Inhalers only last a month if I only use 2 puffs twice a day, add in a puff before exercise, and usually some after, I get through them really quick!

Trimbow vs Trelegy?
I was on
Symbicort
, then Trixeo but I kept having exacerbations. Two months ago a clinical pharmacist offered me a choice between Trimbow and Trelegy. I chose Trimbow, not realising two of the medications are the same as Fostair.

Emthesloth reply.I was on Spiriva Respimat (morning) and
Symbicort
twice - midday and at night. It worked for me. I've now been put on Breztri- which is a 3 in one.. 2 puffs morning and same before bed. Finding it effective. Minor coughing still.

Symbicort Turbohaler or should I ask to try fostair+?
Hi, I'm new here, been using
Symbicort
for about 9 months now, but symptoms of my asthma are still here. I'm 57 quite fit, run everyday , and had very mild symptoms of asthma for years and used my ventolin now and again.

Change in inhalers
I'm currently on sertide and being switched over to
symbicort
. I'm not sure of the dosage etc as need to discuss further with gp. I'm a little concerned as been on seretide for years. When I get switched it triggers flares and I've already had loads of time of work. I work part time.
