It’s been a busy few months with quite a few challenges! So thanks to everyone who took part in the March Matness, and just before, the 7 Day James Dunne challenge! Also huge thanks to ChannelRunner2 , whose March Matness is such a great resource of Pilates movements that can be returned whenever needed to during the whole year. Thank you!

So we are back to our regular rolling out of our monthly Pilates and Yoga Mats.

Feel free to pop in when you feel like it!

And just head the Community tab to find her weekly planner with lists of workouts. The workouts will be in the playlists marked for the week and month.

So feel free to reply to this post when you do one of these workouts. We’d love to hear how you found it.

If you are just joining us, big WELCOME to you and any new Virtual Workout Buddies! A short daily practice of Yoga or Mat Pilates is perfect to get some S&F into your day. But if you are looking for something else, here is a nice welcome post to invite you to the many S&F opportunities here on the forum: healthunlocked.com/strength...

And feel free to - as Adriene says - “find what feels good”, meaning if your knees feel too sensitive, amend that Child’s Pose. And if you find full planks are the stuff of nightmares, rather do half planks than full ones. Do whatever feels right to get the maximum enjoyment from these daily sessions. And definitely get creative with props.

Upwards, crow-wards and down dog-wards another months practice!

Thank you, CBDB , for offering options to continue with the MATness!

I was actually going to suggest a few other options, so I hope you don't mind if I pop them in here:

* Continue practicing the 34 mat exercises (all of them, your favorite only, your least favorites only...)

* Check out some of the teachers mentioned throughout the month, including Lesley from Online Pilates Classes and Beth from Trifecta Pilates. Both offer a lot of free resources on YouTube.

* If you're also a runner, you might want to check out Liz from Pilates for Runners. Most of her free stuff is on Instagram at instagram.com/pilates_for_r...

* Or (and?), of course, join us here following along with The Girl with the Pilates Mat

The most important thing, I think, is to keep moving and have fun!

i did day 1 on Adrienne and regretted not starting earlier...it was lovely

Fabulous! Yes, I think I had a 18 month streak of doing YWA every single day, and loved it. But when I started rowing, I found myself doing thorough post-workout stretches twice a day (once after rowing, once after running) so I couldn’t fit it in anymore.

But I really loved doing it daily and still pop in here and there.

i did a 20 min pilates from her videos and adjusted and i feel ready for the day...she is lovely
