As many of you know, we have been rolling out monthly virtual, and collective mats to help keep us connected through the YWA daily calendar. And i’ve been seeing an increasing number of workout buddies heading to the Pilates corner via the YouTube channel Girl with the Pilates mat.
So, I’ll be trying a new virtual mat next month, watching some of us getting really into Pilates. I thought it might be useful to have a collective, virtual mat for both our Yoga and Pilates fans. This is of course made easy by the two most popular channels on our forums having monthly or weekly choice of YouTube workouts.
So here I am rolling out our virtual mat, ready for September .

And one just has to head to Playlists or Community to find the list of workouts.
So feel free to reply to this post when you do one of these workouts. We’d love to hear how you found it.
And our general guidance is below:
If you are just joining us, big WELCOME to you and any new Virtual Workout Buddies! A short daily practice of Yoga or Mat Pilates is perfect to get some S&F into your day.
And feel free to - as Adriene says - “find what feels good”, meaning if your knees feel too sensitive, amend that Child’s Pose. And if you find full planks are the stuff of nightmares, rather do half planks than full ones. Do whatever feels right to get the maximum enjoyment from these daily sessions. And definitely get creative with props.
Upwards, crow-wards and down dog-wards another months practice!
