Day 5 put it around my bed leg seemed to work OK
I liked this one. I’ve got a conveniently located bannister. There were a few planks, plank variants and mountain climbers in this morning’s hiit class so my core has had a serious workout. Think I’m going to feel that tomorrow!
I did this with a heavy Theraband and my couch 😎 I'll do something similar later tonight on the Reformer (Twist on the Short Box for those who also do Pilates...) making sure that I turn from the hips - and not just my upper body...

Yes, I go to a studio that has all the Pilates equipment. It's a 30 minute walk from where I live, so that gets me there nice and warmed up. They offer Open Gym to all their members, which allows us to use their equipment outside of class on our own (though they have to be there, so the times are sadly limited...)
I've looked into getting a Reformer - and had to pick myself off the floor when I saw the prices... Gratz or Balanced Body run close to 10,000€! I'd rather get a good umbrella and wander to the studio... 🤣 (Yea, I know there are less expensive ones - and they're not nearly as nice...)
I could use the post from our guest bed for this, which worked well! Nice one!
I’m beginning to see why bands are so popular. In essence they do the same thing as dumbbells or smaller weights, but imagine going on vacation and wanting to do some of these exercises. Some resistance bands just simply fit into any size of luggage! But you do not want to take your weights! 🤣🤣
This, as I suspected, was a no-no for me. Two reps and my spine said NO very loud 😵
