★★★ UPDATE: 3678 min so far! Oh, no! Is our momentum slowing? We are at 16%! ★★★

Is our momentum slower because YWA in her daily practice planned a Yoga Yin slumber party for us? I rejoiced, however some of us seem to be getting serious. I hear of six-packs, dumbbells, planks and pigeons! Hat off! And muscles on! 💪

So on to the next week of workouts, and let us know what was hard, or if you noticed how strength or flexibility improved in some way.

I've done 96 minutes YWA (Renew Days 7, 8 and 10) and warm up and cool down stretching for 3 runs. So altogether that's 126 minutes from me 😊

Very nice. Yes, I always forget to consider my stretches, but they definitely count! 👍🏽👏

Another 2 hours 17 minutes from me as at 18/4 (that's to help me know what I've recorded and what I haven't!). That's a couple of pilates sessions (I am actually up to date at last, but I needed the two weeks off over Easter to achieve that) and a couple of yoga Runner's warm up sessions. My daily yoga is long gone for now, but it's nice to do a bit to warm up for my runs. Having said that, the only way I managed to fit pilates in today was by using it as a pre run warm up ... it was only a short run so it just about worked 😂

Nice!!! Well, - 🧐 I think Pilates and Yoga together would be too much anyway. 🤔I’ve been waiting for an easy YWA week coinciding with an easy work week to start with a bit Pilates on a daily basis.

But no luck so far, since January! And now YWA has dropped two sessions per day on her monthly calendar! 😱

Also my app tells me that doing 30min Pilates burns 30 calories more than 30min Yoga!

Or 30min Yoga is the equivalent to 1.2 km running whereas 30min Pilates is the equivalent to 2.1 km running according to MyVirtualMission drive.google.com/file/d/1es...

Sorry, got all math-y here, basically: WELL DONE!!! 👍🏽👏👏

I'm always disappointed at how few calories garmin thinks I've burned after a yoga or pilates session; cycling and running are far more effective in that department 😂

Slowing down surely not 🙄I did 40 minutes Yoga / Pilates practice yesterday and my usual zoom yoga which was 2 hours today.

I'm doing the twice weekly home covid tests so I'm going to try to get into the habit of a 30 minutes workout while I wait for the results.

I think YWA short sessions where to blame for the slow down! This week will make up for it, as she has two sessions per day! 😱😱😱

And although they are meditation, I think they should count. Yesterday’s had a couple of stretches in there, so definitely ✔️📮!

Oh, do we count non S&F exercise? If so, I can add another 120 min running, 16 min walking, and 30 min spinning

Ooohhh nice! Well indoor cycling should count then! (As you can see the rules seem to be emerging as we go along... my original thought was to only include stuff where we do not have a forum for, and that therefore would be most appropriately discussed on S&F. We’ll see if it works)
