From zero to over doing it

Well I cycled to my Mum's gym class. I've been twice before when I visit and each time it's a killer for different reasons. This time it was great if you like squats, lunge, squat, lunge punch, kick, squat, plank, lunge etc for an hour of aerobics nearly non stop. oh yes a little 10 minutes break for constant ab work. Well I needed it....Cycle home, feel like stretching my legs so go for w4r1 at MAF 140 HR so very slow. All well. Go home shower and off to the pool. NO DONT WORRY, I just went to sit in the jacuzzi.

Back home I have lunch and stay sat working for 4 hours in the same position but now I need to go to have a gait analysis done. Oh heck, I can hardly walk, my thighs are on fire. Might have to borrow my mum's rolling pin tonight as a roller.

Oh dear! 😂 I think hot baths & ibuprofen might be your friends for a couple of days! 😀

It’s better now I’ve moved although a hot bath does sound appealing anyway:-)

I basically have an exercise addiction when the conditions are right.

Hot bath. Epsom salts. Prosecco ... oops!

Had some local wine and the pains seem to have gone. Actually seems that the culprit was not the exercise but the settee where I was sat for too long working without a break. Bad settee 🛋😅

Yes in the end just walking around helped. I do feel that i have done squats and lunges in the recent past but i can move. Saying that, as soon as i sit and work for more than an hour i seem to get stiff. Just went for a short trot this evening to stretch out

Just the bubbles were great. Had hoped to go today too but it has weird opening hours during term time, will go and sit in the jacuzzi again tomorrow. Might do a few lengths too...

Oh yes, love jacuzzis. Sounds a very good plan.
