Thirty day yoga challenge ...

... if I post it here, it might happen! Last night I potted that Adrienne has a thirty day challenge, with a different youtube video for each day. I've been enjoying her runners yoga after my runs and thought this might be a good way to try a bit more variety. No idea whether it will get more difficult, but day 1 is done and was nice and easy, just as she said it would be โœ”. Anyone else fancy trying it?

Tomorrow is on my plan as strength. The weather looks OK though so I know I will be tempted to cycle instead. So I'm saying it right here, right now ... tomorrow is my strength day ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Please hold me to account ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

Iโ€™ve done this, a year or two ago, and loved it. If youโ€™ve done her runnersโ€™ yoga and enjoyed, I guess you will too!

Day 6 โ€œsix pack absโ€ now that burned more than any of my runs so far ๐Ÿ˜‚ but I love her videos, and they definitely have helped my running! Enjoy!

๐Ÿค” Hi Linda, Iโ€™m nursing a hamstring issue thatโ€™s still there after my run today, but plan to keep doing my yoga and strengthening until Iโ€™m able to get back out there and run. It sounds as though this may be a bit of a push at the moment. I hope I will only need a couple of days of rest. Iโ€™ll have to do something much gentler. But please donโ€™t let that put you off! I just need to be a bit careful! Sorry! ๐Ÿฅด

Iโ€™m a good cheerleader though! โค๏ธ

I read your posts backwards ๐Ÿ˜€. It's great you decided to try after all. Do be careful with the hamstring, but some gentle stretching may be helpful. Take care and good luck ๐Ÿ™‚

This wasnโ€™t meant to put you off, the plan is really well put together and for every tricky session that pushes you there is a gentler or shorter one that allows your body to recover. I would recommend it to anyone!

I feel pretty good. But will definitely listen to the body! Onwards for Day 2 for you isnโ€™t it Linda? Go for it! Iโ€™m right there, just a little sensible tweak! We can do this! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝโค๏ธ

I guess it doesn't really matter if it's every day. Not sure I will either, but I definitely like structure and plans for my running, so thought it might work with yoga too. Time will tell ๐Ÿคž

It certainly worth a trial. Iโ€™ve just committed to 2 strength sessions a week so was thinking of adding yoga into the mix too on another day. So I might just spread them across a few weeks instead. First I have to get in the strength swing first. Thank you. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Itโ€™s great to try new things. You never know you might be bitten with the bug and keep it up beyond the 30 days ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ

I fancy trying it. I used to do yoga regularly but stopped a bit back. As I can't run at the moment due to a knee problem, possibly runners knee, I need to do something in the meantime. Hold me to account too!

I'll report back on Monday on the yoga challenge (unless I have to admit defeat before then in which case it may be sooner ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿคฃ)

I did one of her 30 day yoga challenges last year and loved it. The one I did had some fairly hardcore routines, but they were usually followed by a gentle one the next day.

I think Iโ€™ll do this latest one, but Iโ€™ll start in a couple of weeksโ€™ time. ๐Ÿ˜€

I agree - I wobbled a lot in day 2. Just done day 3 and enjoyed that more. I'm not very clued up on yoga so am checking the foundation videos afterwards too just to check I'm not totally off the mark. Glad I started it ... for now at least ๐Ÿ˜. Hope you enjoy it :)

Yoga was my passion before I started running, so itโ€™s lovely to get back into it. โค๏ธ But, it is deceptively hard! Looking forward to day 3. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜
