Tight glutes? Try this workout!

Well, due to my James Dunne workouts, I’ve been realising that my glutes are weak, and they have been having a hard workout lately as I start wakening them up.

So to relax, I was looking for a good session freely available that focus on stretching or rolling tight glutes, and FitOn has a session that feels soooooo good. It focuses on the whole posterior chain, from glutes to hamstrings.

You need a roller, a chair and a strap/belt and then you are good to go! (Oh, and you might need to download the free FitOn App)

But for all those with tight glutes, this is a good one!

Hope this link works,

Let me know how you find this one, as I thought it felt grrreeaattt! 😃😃

Bummer. Yes, I have a free account. It’s a great app. They do have a YouTube channel but it’s not up there.

(Their business model is : you get all the follow-along workouts for free, but if you want to use the recipe/ cooking / nutrition functions you have to subscribe. This works pretty well for me as I’m only interested in their workouts. They have some great yoga, Pilates and body weight workouts, and also some dance workouts)

Glute workouts so useful...This looks good... Bluebirdrunner posted some useful links too, a while back I think.

I know that working on mine has really benefited me... only this week, I know I moved more strongly and a tad speedier after tightening those muscles up mid run!

Those links are so interesting… thank you… yes, I have become aware of my glutes during the James Dunne exercises, but I’m also experiencing lower back ache, so I’m wondering if I am still compensating with other muscles, as the article suggests.

Right... honestly there is a lot to think about sometimes isn't there...I'm never sure sometimes whether it really is just my age !! ( I am of course ancient)!🤣

Thank you -new app for me ! - and Kelly Starrett is probably one of the best (I highly recommend investing in his book 'becoming a Subtle Leopard)
