Hi everyone, I have not been on this site for ages.
Well I had my flu jab 2 weeks ago, the site remained very hot and hard for a week, a steroid injection last week. Then at the end of October blood tests in advance of having 5 days of Iloprost the first week in November, so yes lots of needles! But hey, no one can say the NHS isn"t looking after me. Sat here with my winter woolies on and a blanket across my knees, I look just like my nana used to look like ha ha. I have the heating on a timer, cos I do not want it on all the time just yet cos it is going to get a whole lot colder later on in the winter. My breathing is getting laboured especially if I walk quickly and/ or up an incline, oh the joys of SSC. Anyway, enough of my moaning, I hope you are all managing at this time of the year, my mittens, hats and gloves have been dug out and are ready for action as are my polo neck jumpers!!! Well smile and wave folks, smile and wave. xxx

Fairy56, got my mittens out this morning for gastroenterologist appt, which went well. Just getting over cold after flu jab 2 weeks ago, but will help keep me protected. Heating going, but have mine set on 24 hours and use the thermostat to adjust the temperature, keeping it low at night. I use blankets too, cos I get cold then 10 mins later I'm hot, all good fun!
Hi Mew53, thanks for your reply, I am sat here with my right hand cold and my left one lovely and warm! hey at least I am only half cold haha. Yeah how come we can go from being freezing cold and then sweltering hot just not fair. Keep well, smile and wave, smile and wave.
Hi fairy65, lovely to read your post. I know what you mean about the needles haha! I'm off for 2 myself on Monday. My central heating boiler broke down on Monday (panic!) so I looked like my nana used to. Thinking of buying the tartan slippers with the pompoms on for the whole effect Take care x
Hi nanagill, thanks for your reply, I hope you have managed to have your boiler fixed. I have given the tartan slippers a miss, perhaps next year, but I have some lovely fluffy socks. Keep warm, and smile and wave, smile and wave.
