SPLIT SKIN!!

Hello everybody, I have split skin around 5 fingers and 1 thumb!!! Very sore. Been putting on my certrabam cream and plasters, not at the same time. Nothing working at present, but I will persist with the certrabam (sorry wrong spelling) Could be worse, it could be all my fingers and thumbs haha. Also noticing more dry patches on face. I guess our friend Ssc and its brother Ray nauds thought I needed a wake up call and is just letting me know life is for the living. So I am counting my blessings, cos I know some of you out there live with far worse symptoms and pain than I do, Heres to some more warmer weather, cos today has been cold and miserable, winter jumpers out again!!! and the heating on! oh and a blanket over my knees. Hoping you are all managing our friend, and as always smile and wave folks, smile and wave.

Surprised Cetraben hasn’t worked, but when I get into the same situation I use Vaseline as well as cetraben maybe worth a try.

I switch or add on many different creams. For now, I've found a hand cream with moringa in it. I love it. However, I've not experienced it with broken skin. I also used a Prossage Massage Balm for soft tissue therapy with dwarf pine oil (Amazon) along with my Conair Hydro Spa (Walmart or Amazon) when I had tiny tears on my wrist. Amazingly quick response. I heard on Dr. Oz that flax seed oil daily eases fibromyalgia. (He suggested in salads or cooking). I wonder if it would help Ssc. Feel better.

Certainly. I'm away from my house for the day and didn't bring it with me. I will do so later this evening. I ordered it from a friend that's a distributor. It is a small jar for $30 but just a few dabs go a long way.

Pulled it up on the internet. It's GenM moringa silk hand cream.

Please check with your doctor before using on open cracks. I have never used it on cracked skin. I can vouche for the GenM cream otherwise.

Visit medicalnewstoday.com and search for Chilbains Treatment. It offers to check with doctor for cracked skin and for a mixture of a weak iodine solution and friar's balsam. To prevent, exercise (check with doc to what extent) to promote good circulation.

How about something like climb on balm? It's designed to help heal cuts from rock climbing. and really helped my mum's splits in her thumbs.

When your hands have healed smother your fingers with aqueous cream before you go to bed and wear cotton gloves on top. You will need to do this as much as possible and hopefully this will prevent the splits in future.

hi, have you tried daktacort cream or any cream with nitrate and cortisone in them? They are prescription only but with in a few days it clears mine up. If l catch it just as it starts savalon antiseptic cream helps and with vasaline to keep things dry!

Try vermonnt Prime Emu oil-put it on your hands at night and sleep with gloves on-your hands will be beautiful in the morning. I don't own the place or even work there but it works so well I should!

Have split skin round my middle finger got plaster on it at the moment keep catching it, using dr organic manuka honey lotion at the moment.
