Thermal biofeedback and Raynaud's

I have read about the benefits of thermal biofeedback for Raynaud's mainly on US websites. Does anyone know of practitioners in the UK or had experience of this treatment?

Never heard of this but I take green tea extract (tablets) which are a thermogenic - helps heat you up from the inside out. Used them this last winter & didn't get any really bad attacks. My body temp drops really low now so I'm borderline hyperthermic. And these really helped with that as well.

Hi

Sorry, I haven't heard of this treatment. However, I take Rutivite Tablets (aka Rutin), which is made from Buckwheat (which is gluten free). This helps with circulation. I take one tablet with breakfast and one with tea. Been doing this for over 2 years, it's really reduced the number of attacks I experience. It's also made my body temperature less eratic, so it's easier to cope with our changeable weather. I buy directly from the manufacturer : powerhealth.co.uk

then type "rutivite" in the search box at top right of screen (the phone number for Power Health is 01759 302595).

They give you a free book about Buckwheat if you buy any Rutivite product. Initially I contacted them by 'phone and they sent me a small free sample.

Thank you very much for replying to my question, I will certainly contact them and take a course as I want to avoid taking prescribed medicine which my gp has suggested.

Biofeedback is available on the NHS but needs to be done at a pain clinic. Check with your doctor of there is one at a hospital near you and if so ask for a referral.

Good luck!
