I've been using high grade cannabis flower for 30 years to take the edge of my Raynaud's and it's the only treatment that works for me, any medical treatment from the doctors never worked and had bad side effects, cannabis flower side effects are all good so far lol, but I can't hold down a job as I have thc in my system that is against the law in the UK but CBD doesn't work on my Raynaud's the flower must contain about 15% THC to give me relief in any way. Has anyone else tried cannabis flower?

Raynaud's and cannabis
Hi Kenneth
I use cannabis primarily for pain relief (I have systemic sclerosis) but medical research has shown that it can stop progression of fibrosis (I have fibrosis in internal organs). I have had severe secondary Raynaud's but I don't get ulcers like I used to (they used to be quite painful, now I have two tiny pits). I've not had iloprost for years.
Hash is better than buds - it's a cleaner high and has more CBD, meaning you use less. I can function as 'normal' and no-one can tell that I'm 'high'. You need a good ratio of CBD:THC for it to work effectively.
I don't have to worry about it being in my system as I don't have a job.
Perhaps some people will not like us talking about cannabis, but it works for us. I've had adverse reactions to prescribed medicine and don't want to take cytotoxic drugs.
Your post is very interesting. I've used CBD oil both full & broad spectrum to help with a very sore scar after surgery, it was hypertrophic (not keloid). I took the oil & white choc CBD sublingually. It worked amazingly. I did not use it topically. My oncologist & pain management consultant both very impressed, the latter even took details of supplier & products available.
I've never heard of cannabis flower, assume this is actually the flower itself, not a concoction made from it? Where do you get it? The amount of thc in CBD I used is so small it's insignificant. Does the flower send you off with the fairies?!
I'm borderline limited scleroderma, I have slight Raynaud's, I'd be very interested in any posts re relieving symptoms, especially of internal organs, eg: large intestine.
I carry Tree of Life Botanicals CBD products in my office. I use capsules on a daily basis and the lotion and balm for pain in my hands and feet from the Raynauds and on my spine from slipped discs and compressed vertebrae. I’m pretty happy with them as are my clients. I also get both THC and CBD flower at my local dispensary and find that smoking equal parts significantly helps my pain but the CBD takes the edge off when I need to be functional around people.
I’m in the US in a state with medical licensing so I’ve been using for a little over 3 years. I guess I never really noticed it to help the Raynauds but it allows me to sleep as I have ridiculous insomnia and pain. I do feel it has helped my gastroparesis significantly which is funny because one of the first GI docs was adamant it would make it worse (the research also backs me up on this). I feel the cannabis is impacting my cognitive abilities significantly so I I’m wondering if you have any advice on combating this? Are there no employers in your area that don’t drug test? I just went into business for myself to avoid this issue, though I’m using legally it still carries a stigma unfortunately.
