I’m on my way to Serbia to the Swiss Medica clinic. I’ll be there for one week receiving a course of stem cell infusions.
I know it is a step into the unknown but I’m willing to give it a try. I’ve had detailed discussions with one of their doctors and feel that it is worth proceeding with.
Wish me luck!
UPDATE
Thank you all for your support.
Unfortunately I was unable to receive stem cell treatment, I have a small lump on the side of my neck which I am awaiting the result of a biopsy. The team at Swiss Medica were insistent that it needed to be resolved. So i am plnning to go back soon.
The clinic, the people, the doctors and the facilities are all 1st class, i have no hesitation in recommending.
Hoping to have a another update soon.

I have heard of this treatment and have read it can have positive results. I wish you luck and success. I’d be interested to know if this is a private treatment? Please let us know how you get on.
Hi,I had stem cell treatment in the UK with the NHS in 2016.
I was in an isolated room for three weeks. I was lucky as although I had acute Diffuse Cutaneous Systemic Sclerosis it was caught early & I passed all the extra tests to ensure my body could take the invasive chemotherapy.
My own baby cells were extracted a month before chemotherapy. These hadn't turned rogue at this point. I was a very serious case without many options. The decision to go ahead even with the risks we're an obvious choice. I wanted to fight this disease
It's a long road to recovery. For me, it's been a miracle.
The main thing is to remain positive throughout all the ups & downs.
Best of luck! We live partly in neighbouring Montenegro so my wife would be interested to know how it turns out. What is your diagnosis, if I may ask? Just to understand what they are treating, please.
Hi, I have fairly standard Scleroderma with Raynauds. The hospital here is very new and modern, Have to say they are very professional but very friendly.
I just think it's really sad that you have to go to another country to get the treatment you need but I wish you all the very best of luck. I hope it turns your life around.
