A short time after I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I found out I also had stage 4 ovarian cancer. That was almost 4 yrs ago. Determination to stay positive and live a joyful life as God wants us to do is my goal. Since I am in the third series of chemo treatments, that isn't always an easy thing to do. I have had terrible diarrhea this time. At times, I am afraid to leave the house for fear of an accident. Piano music is my favorite, I listen often and while I sew or quilt, or clean up the house, when I can and especially when I watercolor paint. I've made thank you cards to all those who have prayed and cared for me along with a poem I wrote. My support group is awesome, but I appreciate being a part of SHARE and I will do anything I can for anyone.
Kissmeonce is the first song on a CD called, "A lovely way to spend an Evening" by Emile Pandolfi. He is my favorite pianist .

Thank you so much for posting. You brought back memories for me of when I was a kid and used to take piano lessons. There is something about the piano...
I don't have any miracles for diarrhea other than the ol' standby, BRAT diet - banana, rice, applesauce and toast - that Mom used to give to us when we were kids (but not brats. LOL) Having said that, next time I have diarrhea I'm going to try what works for my cats. I foster cats and if they are having digestive issues I boil chicken breasts and then use that water to make the rice. I put the chicken and rice in a blender and puree it. Its a good way to get some protein that is more easily digested.
Wow what a busy fruitful life you live! I'm glad you're staying so positive. The only thing I can say about the diarrhea is it's better than the constipation. I currently get both on alternating days of my chemo cycle. Hang in there.
