Hello and hugs to ALL,

I was diagnosed with OC (Fallopian tube) March 2018, found during routine hysterectomy ..... 6 chemo treatments of carbo/taxol. ... after 3 rounds went in did omentum removal and was NED. Then had 3 more rounds of chemo. Finished last chemo 9/4/18 At that time my CA125 was 3 ( my highest was only 28 and gradually down to3 one month checkup in October cat scan NED. And ca125. Still 3 ..... Dec 13th visit all looked good ca125 still 3 fast forward to January 18. My OBG. Did a surgery to repair a prolapse and lift bladder, she found something very small sent for biopsy. Came back positive 😟. Will need 6 more rounds of chemo... starting all over again 😒. Dr said may do combo of carbo/gemizide???? Not sure on β€œ G” drug name ? Can anyone tell me what it might be?? And. Does it cause hair loss like taxol ??? And what side effects ?? Appreciate any response. Thanks

Yes was on Advastin for months. Then it started causing blood vessels to burst which was causing my stomach pain and inflammation Then I went on Zejula. It’s a pill that is called a PARP inhibitor. Worked great on CA125 number went from 221 to 33. Many chemo maintence types to be offered

Hi, May I ask you how soon you recurred and went on Gemzar/Caro? Have you had gemzar alone as well?

Also are you BRCA+?

May parp continue working

I had an incidental finding during routine surgery to repair a prolapse 4 months after finishing chemo and Ned Ca125 3. BUT. Dr says the less than 1cm was only found cuz I had a surgery, he thinks could of been 1-2 yrs before Ca125 would be up and that it would of shown on a scan .. I had carbo/gemzar on February 13 so far so good. Then on February 22 will just have gemzar by itself , then week off and start back on same routine for total of 6. Cycles ... then talking about maintenance with some sort of parib
