MBC - Verzenio and low blood work

Hi, first time posting. I was diagnosed Dec 22, They did breast saving surgery thinking it was not as bad as it ended up being. Had mastectomy March 23 and reclassified to 3C since lymph nodes positive. Went through chemo & radiation and started on Letrozole and Verzenio in February . It was going fine with blood work until Sept. After 8 months doing fine on Verzenio, my neutrophils went from acceptable level of 1.0 to .8. not acceptable level. They took me off Verzenio 150mg twice before lowering me to 100 mg dosage. I was disappointed but thought I'd handle the lower dosage without issue. After 3 weeks with no meds, my blood levels looked great. They put me on the lower dosage and with two weeks on my bloodwork neutrophils went back to normal.8 level. I'll find out today what they plan to do. They will take me off again and probably lower me to the lowest and last level of Verzenio, which would be very disappointing since this was my only hope at keeping the cancer at bay..

Anyone else had similar issues being on Verzenio, even after tolerating it for eight months? Glad to joining the forum, all the info, stories and support is helpful; although scary to see me future ahead on this journey. Thanks

Sorry confusing, but after 3 weeks off 150 mg and bloodwork good, then put on lower level 100 mg, my bloodwork is down again with only being on at lower level for only 2 weeks.

Perhaps ribociclib (Kisqali) would suit your body better than Verzenio...ask your oncologist to prescribe it for four months...

I’ve had low nuetraphills for years on these meds. My oncologist halts to meds and then gives my an injection of Zarxio.
