hi everyone from windy raining SE England! I had my 2nd ct scan and found out the tumours were now so small they are unmeasurable! To say I’m over the moon is an understatement! Only been 6 months on Ibrance And Letrozole with little side effects apart from the obvious fatigue, I can live with that to see my grandkids grow up! So I am staying on the same medication until it stops doing its job! Wishing you all well xxxx

I am very happy for you. I, too, had good results today from my PetScan on Monday. I am on Kisqali, 400 mg. And am fine on it. My doctor still concerned about my neutrophils but when I give my self an extra two days off, they go up significantly. So I am hoping to convince my oncologist, this is better than reducing the dosage.

Kisqali stays in the body for 8 days, but you are reducing the amount there each time you take an extra two days off. Why not take every weekend off, and you may find (as I did) that your neutrophils will settle down to the normal range. There is NO research that indicates it is better to put more of a drug in the body when a smaller dose works. Listen to your doctor! It seems to me that she or he wants what is best for your overall health.

yes, I know you do the 5 days on and weekends off. I will see how this cycle goes on 400 mg and starting for first time at 8 th day. My doctor wants a 2 week bloodwork check.

My PetScan actually looked stable and a little better with 3 months of about 8 or 9 days off, mostly because of a .covid interruption and some timing issues. But we will see. I really don’t wnt to drop to the 200 mg dosage and I will probably push keeping this dosage .
