Hi everyone. I may be starting Truqap as my next line of treatment. My ? Is, does anyone know the cost of these pills? I am in the US and on Medicare and blue cross so I already know there will be a co-pay.

Thanks for any information.

Lori

I meant to ask you, Mary, do you live in the US?

I am waiting for financial help as I was told my co pay would be over $3300.00 per month. I have Medicare, BC supplement and Humana Rx policies.

I was afraid of that. Just awful! It’s just not right!!

Whoever told you that is wrong. There is a cap of something like $3300 per year this year. Lower next year.

Yes you are right Helen! I already purchased my Truqap for 3300 and the rest of my scripts are showing no copay. Thank God! Once again, thank you for sharing your knowledge

Thank you for confirming. And I’m really glad it worked out!

(A lot of people don’t know about this huge improvement in Medicare drug plan. It was part of President Biden’s infrastructure bill. I learned about it from the NYT about a month ago)

My Blue cross supplement has been in effect since 2009 and is no longer offered exactly the same. I have paid nothing for any cancer treatments or my husbands cancer and back surgeries with my plan. I am very lucky to have chosen this plan. I had very good advice back when I was planning retirement. Wish others could have gotten it
