I was on Truqap for three months. No problems or side effects, but it didn’t work for me and I had more progression in my liver mets. Very disappointing since Truqap was a match for the liver mutation. So far in the space of 14 months I’ve been on Verzenio, ibrance, everilimus, and Truqap. All worked stabilizing my bone mets, none were effective on the liver. Verzenio was the only one I had really bad side effects with. Yesterday was my first Enhertu IV treatment. Hard to get my hopes up, but here I am with a spark that says maybe this one .,.

I also have liver and bone mets and will have my 4th Enhertu treatment next week. Like you, I'm hoping this is my drug. Have been on ibrance, Verzenio, piqray and Xeloda!

The side affects of Triqap are supposed to be a lot lighter than those of Piqray. It’s taken 4 days on and 3 days off. I’ve only been on it for 1 1/2 weeks and so far, so good.

I found Truqap more difficult than Piqray. With P I had occasional diarrhea but that’s it. With T, not only diarrhea but more fatigue, headache and other issues on the “off” days (when not taking the med). Each person is different …

I’m glad you said something about symptoms on the off days. I’ve been noticing leg and foot cramps on the off days, but not on the days I’ve been taking the Truqap. I actually went to the doctor and got checked for blood clots, but there weren’t any.

Oh, I’m sorry to hear that, sounds uncomfortable! There’s a Truqap patients’ Facebook group that I’ve found helpful, and a lot of people have mentioned feeling worse on the “off days,” so it seems quite common…

I’ve been trying to join that group but not getting in. Did that happen to you? I’m not on truqap yet but it is likely my next therapy and I was interested in hearing more about it.

Maybe they’re only letting in people who are currently on it or about to start? Not sure …. There was a lot of commentary on side effects, and a lot of people going off it after only a short while.

I’ve taken TRUQAP since January. I haven’t had a rash.

I encountered diarrhea. I learned to prophylactically take Imodium to manage diarrhea during the 4 day on cycle.

Good luck.
