Truqap and indigestion

I have a history of intermittent indigestion, gerd, and esophageal swallowing problems. It seems to have increased markedly on my first two weeks on Truqap.it could just be unlucky timing as my aging body has more of this problem. I also have a moderate hiatal hernia which can cause this distress. Anyone with similar situation?

Are you taking the Truqap with food? I notice a lot more gastrointestinal issues when I don’t eat something with it.

TCM doctors a good at gastrointestinal issues. Have you tried seeing one that can make you a Chinese herbal formula? I’ve been seeing a TCM doctor since I was diagnosed with MBC. In 2016. The herbs he gives me are the only thing that controls my severe laryngeal pharyngeal reflux.

I apologize but what are TCM doctors?

TCM is short for Traditional Chinese Medicine. They use a combination of acupuncture or tui na (acupressure), Chinese herbs and tai chi or qi gong to treat the root cause of the illness. TCM doctors are famously good at controlling reflux symptoms that regular GI doctors and pharmaceutical drugs can’t.

Yes, unfortunately, I have dry heaves and upset stomach most days, these days. I think that it is same potatoes compared to the possible winning situation. I will know after my PET scan on 7/4/25. How aged is your body?

I am correcting my typos again. Instead of, " same potatoes", it should read, " small potatoes". but you probably figured that out by now. Sorry for my poor typing skills!

I too have always had mild case of acid reflux and was diagnosed with hiatal hernia also. I take Orserdu and since i started that pill i have noticed a marked increase in the reflux. I read some where that licorice helps with gerd. So i picked up some cherry licorice and when i feel my stomach starting to feel wierd i eat a piece or two and it does seem to calm it down. I do havs prilosec handy in case it is needed.

it isn’t ever my stomach that feels weird. I feel like bubbles and gas in my esophagus.

Celery juice helps a lot. I drink some with lunch and dinner. It helps a lot and I notice a difference when I don’t drink k it.
