I had issues with congestion that was not relieved by allergy meds. I was told to take Prilosec and it worked. In my case it is acid reflux or gerd causing the symptoms. Maybe something for you to explore. Take care.
I also have this issue. Ibrance causes mucus production. My primary care prescribed Flonase and xyzal. Just started treatment. I also have acid reflux and take pantoprazole.
Ibrance can cause permanent damage to the lungs, rare, but it happened to me after just a few rounds of Ibrance. So anything lung related orf possibly lung related should be reported to your onc immediately, like today even tho weekend. My pulmonologist described it as like gunk between the air sacs of the lungs, called Interstitial Lung Disease. I become out of breath very easily, have to stop 3 or 4 times walking to our mail box, about 100 yards from the house. Humid weather makes it worse.
I get this sometimes. And on occasions feel like I'm in for a cold, then I take lemsip. It usually subsides after a couple of days. I can't see a pattern to it. But am wondering if weather contributes, damper, cooler weather as I'm sure I had no symptoms over the summer.
I have been having congestion problems for months. What works best is max strength Mucinex and Sudafed morning and night. I also am taking Reflux meds. Nose sprays also help. I hope you are feeling better soon.
