I recently caught a cold just as I was starting my new round of IBrance. As the cold is still lingering I wrote to my ONC to see if I should be doing something. I will be seeing her on Friday in a few days but in the meantime she told me to suspend the Ibrance. Don't want my ANC to go down and leave me vulnerable to the cold virus.
Has anyone else had this situation? How did you deal with it?

Aww, thank you for your reassurance ...especially the reminder that Ibrance has a half life still working on the cancer...good to be reminded! I'll be sure to talk to her in detail about this cold when I see her! Thank you...hugs!
I have had colds a couple of times while on Ibrance from March 2019-2020 though to be honest none since I started WFH in March 2020. Right after we closed the office then, I had Covid-19. Each time I stopped Ibrance with no progression issues!
i do my 'breast' to avoid colds, as they are more annoying, for this body, while on Ibrance. pending if there's sinusitis involved, determines the temporary stoppage of Ibrance. this body continues to remain stable/NEAD, even while on an 'Ibrance vacation.'
