Good news!

Ladies, thank you so much for your support and well wishes. I’m very happy to share that my brain MRI results didn’t show any progression and the cerebellum lesion that was radiated in October 2020 got smaller.

Now I need to figure out why my blood work from June and July showed increased creatinine and decreased GFR (all mild, but still concerning). Dehydration was excluded already and none of my meds are nephrotoxic.

In the meantime, it’s time for celebration!!!🎊🍷🎂

So happy for your good news! Hope you continue to get good results and that your doctor can figure out what is causing the changes in your bloodwork. Stay positive and take care.

Celebrating with you!!

Congratulations on the great news! 🥳🎈🎉!!! I had increased Creatine when I had 3 separate scans with contrast in a 2-3 week period. My kidneys could not get rid of the contrast amount. I drank lots of water for 3 days then got the Creatine checked again & it was fine. No one ever warned me about too many scans with contrast in a short window of time. Never again!

🙏❤️🙏

Thank you! Most of contrasts (gadolinium was used for my scans) are nephrotoxic, so your reaction is understandable. Mine were identified 3 months after the scan. The initial thought was dehydration, but despite increased amount of water, the results didn’t changed. My oncologist wasn’t concerned at all, but nevertheless I’m planning nephrology consult. Sometimes the patients knows best 😊
