Happy new year everyone. I’m asking for a friend.

Is anyone on the above meds and suffering irritation all over the body and sleepless nights. She had Liver Cancer 8years ago and Breast Cancer 2018 when she was put on the above drugs. Her,Oncologist doesn’t know why she has the irritation. She has never suffered from allergies.

Many thanks

For me, the perjeta can sometimes cause side effects, but usually for a short time, like a few days following infusion. In terms of the efficacy, Perjeta and Herceptin are usually very effective.

Yes, thank goodness it’s working for her but she has these awful side effects. Today she has been put on steroids and they are reducing her dosage. Many thanks

I don't know if this will help but here goes. Can the dosages be adjusted? And trying relaxing exercises might help. I think it sounds like nerves and will soon go away, once she gets her mind wrapped around her situation. I think we all go through a period of adjustment.

Cheers, June S.

Think you are right June. She’s pretty lonely with the isolation going on. Good advice thanks

Hi! Was on this combo for 4 1/2 years. Do they give her Benadryl beforehand? If they don’t u can take your own. Maybe taking Benadryl for 2-3 days when she gets her infusion may help...🤷‍♀️😀!

I will let her know. Thank you.
